Looks like you've been paying close attention to my blogs. Many of you have been sending care packages not just for me, but for the Afghan kids as well. These care packages have some of the detailed items the kids request that I have mentioned previously to include pens, gum, and candy. Well, when I go out on these missions to conduct quality assurance and quality control of my projects, kids are always curious to see what I'm doing. As the come over I entice them even more with the gifts that you've sent. Now you made me a pretty popular dude. It's really fun to see their faces light up. Here's a picture of me with some new friends after I just gave them some gum. I'm not too sure about the kid wearing hearts on his shirt though.
I also enjoy reading your blog comments, updating me on the home front. Keep 'em coming.

Hey buddy, looks like things are going ok over there! Hope you are staying busy. How is the "stan" compared to the "Died?" I bet the died is a joke in comparison.
Getting cold/snowy up in mainiac, i am sure Aud has told ya. I am doing some ASW down in jax tonight, then staying over in jax. Lots of flying the next couple of days.
Hope you are doing well, stay safe.

Hi Drew.
It is good to see you interacting with the Afghani children, but you're being careful, right? Sorry to be a spoiler...but I'm always the MOM. Be safe. We love and miss you.
Looks like you are having better luck charming the kids than the adults. Does Rocketman like chocolate? I love you! Sorry about the deleted post- I don't know what I did.
Hey Drew!
I love the pics with the kids. That is awesome that you get to spend time with them and give them goodies. Love the gun pics, too. Keep posting them and we will keep reading. Stay safe and take care of yourself. We miss you around Portland!

Drew, there's some flashy pens in the care package we just sent. Hopefully the bright colors make them a coveted possession. With all of this grass-roots popularity, you could be the next mayor! Start kissing babies...
Hi dude,
Glad things are going well for you and you're Mr. Popular. I was going to ask are they feeding you well but then I saw the thanksgiving post, that's an impressive spread.
stay safe

Hello Drew ~ We're bracing for "arctic" cold here in Washington! So far December has been mild, roses are still blooming. The first trimester of school is over and we're rolling on into winter break! Hope to do snow shoeing and downhill skiing and try cross country for the first time! Stay safe! Hugs, Aunt Suzy
Hi Andrew! I've been trying to send you a message without success, so this is a test. When successful you'll be getting a lot more. Love, Dad.
Holy shit, it worked. Whoops, I suppose I'm not supposed to swear. Sorry I missed your call today, was running errands and picking up car parts. I'm a bachelor this weekend, mom's is State College, so I'm working on mom's car and staining a toy box. Find out what the "Rocket Man" will barter for his hat or one like it and I'll have it to you in the next care package. But don't get that man upset! Last Saturday we watched Navy embarrass Army 34-0 over at the Sinclairs'. By the way, the small pink flip-flop key chain in your package was a good-luck gift token from Hannah. Keep it in your pocket if you haven't already given it away to one of your Afghan kids. Love, Dad. No more swearing, I promise.
