I already posted a blog concerning the ANP and even briefly commented on the ANA, but I felt the ANA should be entitled to their own picture. In this picture of the ANA with me, an abandoned Russian Tank from the 1980s sits as a reminder of the war torn country. This particular ANA element is being trained by a Coalition Force led Embedded Training Team (ETT). Handfuls of ETTs train hundreds of ANA in combating the Taliban. Taliban fighters are not only comprised of Afghan fighters, but many foreign fighters join the ranks as well including Pakistanis and Chechnyans.

That tank looks like it's in pretty good condition - did you try to fire it up and take it for a joyride?
I would have, but the engine was ripped out.
I like the one guy's "gansta" uniform look with the unlaced boots.
