The results are in and after an intense mustache judging by all of the females, I won second place. Criteria ranged from hairs per square millimeter to mustache extension pa st the lip corners. The final category was special mustache tricks, which I'm guessing lost it for me. Apparently, my tricks aren't good enough.
First place received a set of nun chucks to symbolize his mustache's awesomeness. The second place prize that I won was an acrylic desk ornament with a scorpion cast in it. The message reads, "I Love Afghaistan". That's right, "Afghaistan". Remember a previous post where I discussed literacy. Third place received a small pipe. Symbolism? Your guess is as good as mine.
The pictures above show the three place winners as well as my stache in all its glory. The females felt left out of the competition so we offered them "Armpit April" for next month. I don't plan on judging this one.

Geesh, your moustache looked the best! And I'm not just saying that 'cause I'm your mom. Oh well,no matter, I just hope it's coming off soon? I can't imagine Audrey is too wild about seeing you with that puppy! You're cuter without it. Stay safe.

Yep - you were robbed. Your moustache is way better than the first place guy (and way out of regs by the way, there's obviously no Marines with you). The third place guy looks like he rolled out of bed, forgot to shave that morning and entered the contest - pitiful! The scorpion cast will make a nice souvenir and conversation starter. Almost as good as the blown-glass aardvark!
I had to dodge some Sergeant Majors in order to grow the mustache that big. The third place guy was given a full month head start and he got all of the pity votes since his stache was still pathetic. He and I were actually tied for 2nd and I had to arm wrestle him to win 2nd.
